Whirlwind
Ocean saw You in action, God,
saw You and trembled with fear;
Deep Ocean was scared to death.
Clouds belched buckets of rain,
Sky exploded with thunder,
Your arrows flashing this way and that.
From Whirlwind came Your thundering voice,
Lightning exposed the world,
Earth reeled and rocked.
You strode right through Ocean,
walked straight through roaring Ocean,
but nobody saw You come or go.
Psalms 77:16-19, MSG
Hi Lyli,
Happy Saturday 🙂 The photo pairs well with the verses.
Happy Sunday back at ya, Dolly! This psalm is kind of “where I am at” right now. Jumped right off the page when I read it yesterday.
we’re at the ocean this weekend, so this is resonating big time, Lyli. thank you for sharing this powerful passage … and that gorgeous photo.
i hope you’re having a restful few days!
hugs.
Linda, enjoy the ocean. I am in the waves right now, but Jesus walks on water… so I am trying to rest in His care.
Lovely image, Lyli! Hope all is well with you and yours 🙂
Marty, so nice to see you here! Thanks for stopping by. 🙂
Lovely picture. I also like reading that verse in the Message. Thanks for sharing the Word with us! Blessings!
I am a big fan of The Message these days — I love the word pictures.
Wonderful photo connected to the Word. A real heart-grabber. Thank you.
So good. I’ve seen so many posts from The Message this week. I am loving that translation.
