Watch for the Wonder

When you are deadlocked in a desert land, it’s hard to hold on to hope.
Lift your eyes.Β Look beyond the barrenness.
God’s voice shakes the desert.Β His justice dwells there.
He creates springs of water that well up out of the sand.
He transforms the wilderness into a fertile field.
His redemption is unraveling as you pray.
Watch for the work of His hand.

As we wait and pray, God weaves His story and creates a wonder. Β Instead of drifting between comedy (denial) and tragedy (reality), we have a relationship with the living God, who is intimately involved with the details of our worlds. Β We are learning to watch for the story to unfold, to wait for the wonder.

Lord, I believe You will do an unbelievable work in my day.

Let’s Talk: Are you anticipating the wonder to come?

Let’s Pray Big in Community:
This year, my desire is to lift up holy hands and “Pray Big.” Want to join me? I’ve created a private “Pray Big” Facebook group for like-minded sisters to share their stories and surrender each one to our mountain-moving God in prayer. Let’s cry out to God together.
I am sharing “Watch for the Wonder” and joining like-minded sisters at Spiritual Sundays, Faith-Filled Friday, and Blessing Counters.
thanks for helping me to notice the big prayers God is answering, Lyli. and to keep praying big for the places where the answer isn’t quite clear yet.
