Weary Warrior,

Keep your sword and shield close by, but step aside and rest for a spell.

The battle is hard, but your Warrior God will give your fingers skill.

Your Rock and Refuge will reach down from heaven and rescue you soon.

As you wait, let praises resound as you remember how far He has carried you.

Make melody as you walk with Him in sunlit fields.

Never forget He has placed a new song in your heart.

Redeemed one, praise is your victory cry.

Sing loud.  Sing strong.

Lord, I’m thanking You with all my heart.
