Description
“Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers…” (Psalm 1:1, NIV)
The enemy of our soul likes to whisper lies to us when we are weary from struggling to do what is right. Our adversary tells us our efforts don’t make a difference. He wants us to focus on what we lack and give way to despair and resentment. The truth is that when we stop letting our emotions lead us, and we embrace the truth of what God says, we gain wisdom and find unlimited joy in knowing our faithful God will never forsake us.
“Blessed are all who take refuge in the Lord.” (Psalm 2:12)
You and I can run to the Lord and find rest for our souls. We don’t have to hold back our pain and sorrow from our God. When our hearts are shattered, we can cry up to our Heavenly Father, our stronghold in times of trouble. (Psalm 9:9)
The Psalmist shows us that God welcomes our raw pain, and our doubt can be expressed openly in prayer. As we turn toward God and hand Him all the broken pieces, He pieces us back together and fills us with His peace.
Every time we turn to the Lord and trust Him we find salvation. Our Good Shepherd has promised to restore all that the enemy has stolen from us. His goodness and mercy will pursue us and fill us up to the overflow.
Spend the next 30 days immersed in Psalms 1 through 30 and remind your weary soul that you are blessed beyond measure.
Every study journal has Scripture reading for each day, a journaling page, and a devotional reading to help fuel your faith.
The format we use is a unique take on the SOAP method of Bible study. Here’s how you will “F.U.E.L Your Quiet Time” every morning:
F: Focus on the Word.
We’ll start by digging into Scripture. Write out the focus verse for the day, and then circle or underline any key words you notice that stand out to you.
U: Unpack the Truth.
We’ll unpack the key message God is sharing with us to help us live with greater wisdom.
What do you learn about who God is from this passage?

How will this impact your decisions?
L: Linger in His Presence.
Conclude each day surrendering your way to the Lord’s will as you offer Him your heart. Ask Him to help you lay your all on the altar.
