Meteoric
God’s love is meteoric,
His loyalty astronomic,
His purpose titanic,
His verdicts oceanic.
Yet in His largeness
nothing gets lost;
Not a man, not a mouse,
slips through the cracks.Psalms 36:5-6, MSG

Love how the Message translation renders this verse.
Meteoric! How cool is that?!
Visiting from Give Me Grace. Have a great week.

Wow. What a section of scripture. I have never read that in the Message translation. “Yet in His largeness, nothing gets lost.” I am going to sit with that for a while.
“Nothing gets lost”… God is so beautiful and all is beautiful in its time. The photo is absolutely lovely and fits the Scripture perfectly.
Caring through Christ, ~ linda
I’ve never read this passage in the Message. Wow! And that photo is wonderful, too!
Lyli, this is just the most amazing pairing of photo & Scripture. We can apply those adjectives to other things so loosely. But only when we use them describing our God can we even begin to comprehend Him. And even then, we are only just beginning. Absolutely an amazing portion of Scripture to read today. Blessings!
oh wow… I don’t know if I’ve ever read those verses in the Message before. Goodness. In His largeness, nothing gets lost. Speaks to me so deeply of how intimately He sees my heart. My hidden places aren’t hidden from Him. Oh how He loves…
Thanks for this today, Lyli. Glad I hopped over from Lisha’s.
I always love it when I see that coming through the clouds. What a treat to see you put it on there so beautifully and with the Word. Thanks MUCH!
I’ve never read this piece of scripture in this way. Gods word is always fresh and alive. The Message translation is so good. Thanks for sharing Lyli.
Glory.
That’s all I could think when I gazed at your photo. And leave it to The Message to bring it on home.
Priceless.
Wow.
I’ve never read this scripture or at least not in that translation. Thank you.
