A Lasting Mark
May God, who puts all things together,
makes all things whole,
Who made a lasting mark through the sacrifice of Jesus,
the sacrifice of blood that sealed the eternal covenant,
Who led Jesus, our Great Shepherd,
up and alive from the dead,
Now put you together, provide you
with everything you need to please Him,
Make us into what gives Him most pleasure,
by means of the sacrifice of Jesus, the Messiah.
All glory to Jesus forever and always!
Oh, yes, yes, yes.Hebrews 13:19-21, MSG
Lyli,
The first two sentences captured me…what a big God…Thank you 🙂
Me, too, Dolly! I was actually going to use another verse in the chapter, but then I read these verses. So wonderful!
amen! ALL glory be unto Him!
Yes! 🙂
A lovely representation of scripture that brings us back to center. Scripture that grounds us at times when things seem up in the air
Amen. His Word is an unshakeable foundation. 🙂
Amen! Amen! Amen! <3
and a Hallelujah, too. 🙂
Amen! Lyli, what a beautiful photo!
It’s a stock photo, Joanne. I was so excited when I found it.

Hebrews. Love. Nice photo…you reeled me in from @jumpingtandem
I am loving Hebrews right now… He keeps bringing me back to it this week. So nice to “meet you” through Deidra today! 🙂
So grateful that He puts all things together, including us. Thanks for this scriptural reminder, Lyli.
Where would we be without Him?
Oh, He puts us together….again and again. Love this, Lyli.
We are blessed! 🙂
What an appropriate scripture considering what you’ve been through this week. xoxo
His word is my comfort. 🙂
I LOVE the photo and Hebrews has been my favorite Book in the past. Filled me with my insight and joy and reality. Thank you for sharing so incredibly.
So glad you were encouraged, Joanne! 🙂
Ah … at the cross there is life everlasting …
Hallelujah! 🙂
