Thanks, Elizabeth. It’s a stock photo. Just found your comment in my spam box. (Boo hoo! So sorry that you got stuck in there.) Hope you have a wonderful week!
Thanks, Marty. I was so excited when I found this photo. I studied this verse this week as part of the Good Morning Girls Thanksgiving study, and then I saw it again later in the week on You Version as the verse of the day. Don’t you love it when God keeps bringing a verse to your attention?
Thanksgiving… day in and day out, forever and ever … is how we can be thankful for our Lord Not just one day a year in our nation and others, but forever ones so we can rejoice and be thankful to our Lord, moment by moment. Like your photo and your Word. Thank you.
That is the sweetest part of my week, Rachael. There is something so special about entering into worship with my brother and sisters. He inhabits the praises of His people.
Just this morning I was reading Psalm 136, which reminded me to give thanks to the Lord – for He is so good and faithful! Your verse above put an “exclamation” mark on it! have a blessed day!
I love the image you coupled with that scripture. It’s not one we often see together (I usually see some musical thing) but how beautiful is the image to ENTER. Thanks.
Lisa, I am reading Tyndale’s One Year Bible, and today’s Psalm was #118 — right there in vs 29-30 was this same imagery again of “entering the gates.” Don’t you love it when God repeats Himself?
Lyli – Such a powerful way to approach our God…humbly, in awe, of all He has done! Thanks for brightening my day, and re-directing my focus to HIM, this morning! 🙂
Great photo!

Dear Lyli
When we enter His Presence we cannot but praise and adore Him fro. The bottom of our hearts!

Yes, Mia! It’s so amazing that He allows us full access to His throne. What a blessing! 🙂
Such a lovely image…and such a call to joyous thanksgiving!

Yes, Joanne! This is my prayer — for my heart to be lifted to Him in thankfulness daily.
Looking so forward to entering into worship tomorrow morning! Beautiful post! Love, Rachael @ Inking the Heart

In His grip, Joan
I love the Psalms and try to read one each day. Psalms 136 is a favorite.
Dear Lyli,
Lovely pairing of photo w/ verse…yes, we do enter His presence in a new way when we give thanks…hope you had a restful weekend 🙂
He draws near to those who look to Him in reverence and humility and thankfulness. This past week, I heard this truth more than once.
Beautiful! I love this!!!
Thanks, Martha. A little Good Morning Girls blogging inspiration. 🙂
