Be a Trailblazer
I want to leave my mark.
As I trudge my way through the wilderness, holding forth the Word of life, I am leaving footprints on the path for others to follow.
I must surrender my pride and let it fall down into the mire. Each time I do, a cross is planted in the ground I’ve claimed.
These memorials will point wanderers toward the way of reconciliation.
Lead on, brave sisters. Be brightly conspicuous for Him.
So simply, yet so life-changing – both for us and those who follow us. I think about my kids. They learn so much from what I do, and they’re watching even when I don’t realize they are. Talk about motivation. So glad you took some time to link up with me today.
Yes, Trailblazing Mama! Keep pointing to Jesus. xo
Pointing the way – leaving footprints and planting crosses. So good!
Our journey has a purpose. π
I love how a short message can be so powerful. This was good right here! Thank you for joining Kristin today for TWW. Blessings to you, Lyli. xoxo
Hello, friend! You are such an encourager. Thanks for stopping by.
powerful words – almost a prayer too.
Thanks, Jean. It is basically a loose benediction of sorts, maybe.
Your words are powerful. I’m inspired by them. Thanks for writing, Ruth
Blessings, Ruth. Let’s be brave together.
A beautiful, dynamic poem that gets to the heart of this book. Good things come in small packages, and this was a package worth opening. Thank you!
Well, that is a true compliment coming from such a poetic soul. Much love xo
This is so powerful, Lyli! Then again, I wasn’t expecting anything less – but how you packed in so tightly… wonderful! Let’s all be brave!
Thanks, friend. I am learning that “less is more” these days. I’ve surrendered my word count, and I’m just trying to write without having that hang over my head any more.
This is beautiful. Thank you.
You are beautiful. Thank you. π
I could have written 5 millions words, and they wouldn’t be able to compare to this small passage that you wrote. Simply beautiful.
Thanks, Kelsey. I did a little reading up on “trailblazers” earlier this week, and I discovered from Wikipedia that some “blazes” on trails are actually crosses. How amazing is that?
