31 Days to Fruitful Living — Day 13

heart on tree trunk

Sow love.  All fruit is an outgrowth of this divine seed — affection, good will, benevolence that embraces Truth.  This Agape love does what is best, not what is desired.

Sowing requires effort and intention.  Ask yourself how can you spread God’s love today?  Seeds of love are small acts of unselfish attention.  Plant a hug.  Dig deep as you pray for a loved one.  Scatter around a smile or two.

One small seed of love may spring up into an orchard.

“So this is my prayer: that your love will flourish

and that you will not only love much but well.

Learn to love appropriately.

You need to use your head and test your feelings

so that your love is sincere and intelligent,

not sentimental gush.

Live a lover’s life, circumspect and exemplary,

a life Jesus will be proud of:

bountiful in fruits from the soul,

making Jesus Christ attractive to all,

getting everyone involved in the glory and praise of God.”

Philippians 1:9-11, MSG

Q4U:  How do you plant seeds of love?

Thanks for joining me for Day 13!

  1. Dear Lyli
The only way I am able to plant these seeds of love in others the way our Pappa desires, is to allow Him to fill my heart with His love to such an extent that it cannot do otherwise but overflow towards others.
